Overview

Mir Digital d.o.o. produces a variety of media formats, including, but not limited to, websites, e-cards, mobile applications, video games, and online videos. In this policy, Mir Digital d.o.o. will be referred to as “the organization”, or “Mir Digital”. All products and directly offered services of the organization collectively will be referred to as “services”. People who will use or buy any of these services will be referred to as “users”, “customers”, or “visitors”. In order to make the information easy to understand, this policy also refers to Mir Digital as “we” or “us” and to the reader as “you.”

This Privacy Policy informs readers about our information practices for our subject services, which includes our websites, where a link to this policy is provided, or our software products that the URL of this policy is provided through product’s interface or the store platforms which they are released. 

In a summary, the Personal Information that we collect, when we do collect, will not be shared with and used by anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. We will only use such data internally to improve our service. As an organization which mostly serves out-side of the European Economic Area (EEA), we may also use the non-sensitive information we collected from EEA to improve our services globally. More details on how we collect the information are explained below.

First Party Information Collection Through Our Services

Children’s Privacy

Our services do not directly address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.

Actively Provided Information

Although we usually avoid collecting any information when it is unnecessary, while using our services, depending on the product or services you use, you may be asked or given options to actively provide some identifiable information about yourself. 

The information you may actively provide, can include; unique usernames to use our services, new passwords to use our services that require memberships, a name that can be used for referring to you, email addresses to contact you, your age or date of birth to serve you age-related content, your gender, profile pictures, phone numbers, your publicly available information from the social network platforms you use, and your billing details in cases that you can purchase a product or service through our services. Any information that you provide will be retained by us and used only as described in this privacy policy, unless it is explicitly disclaimed otherwise through the service you use. Also when you leave a comment on our websites or send us a message through our contact forms provided through our services, any information you enter in the forms as well as your messages will be stored in our servers.

Passively Collected Information

Other than the information that you actively provide, depending on the product or services you use, our services may also passively and automatically collect some information. Our web connected services such as our websites and mobile application may collect and log some information regarding your activities on the service. Such automatically collected information may include your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, your session times on navigation through our service, device name, browser protocol, operating system version, your current configuration on our service. The information we collect this way may be used for security practices, such as blocking access with certain suspicious criteria, as well as usage analytics to improve our services.

As these entities are not operated by us, our control over the information that they may collect is limited. So, we cannot accept any responsibility regarding the information they may collect. For our websites, we use third party-security services such, as iThemes Security, to identify and prevent suspicious activities. These services may log some data when you visit our websites. We also serve advertising by using “Google AdSense”, and follow our service performance by using “Google Analytics”. For our mobile applications, we use “Google Play Services” for functions such as leader-boards, achievements, push notifications, data backups, and other Google-powered features. We also use services from “Unity Technologies” to serve advertising. These services may collect information used to identify you. If you want to have some control over the data that these organizations collect about you, you should read their directives regarding your choices about the information they collect in their Privacy Policies. You may learn how to opt-out of certain personalized ads or their activity tracking.

Links to Other Websites

Our services may contain links to websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link provided through our services, you will be directed to an external website. Note that we cannot control these websites’ privacy practices. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services which you may find through our services.

Embedded content from other websites

Through our services, we may serve our users some embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Viewing an embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. 

These websites may collect some data, use their own cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that source website.

Service Providers

To be able provide the services we offer, we employ third-party companies and individuals. These companies and individuals can help us; to facilitate our services, to perform service-related services, to provide some services on our behalf, or to assist us in analyzing how our services are used.

These third party service providers may have access to some Personal Information that can be collected through our services. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. 

In making our software products such as video games and mobile applications, we try to avoid well-known exploitable plugins and methods of doing desired tasks. We use encryption methods when we store sensitive information on your devices through our applications. 

For our websites, we use “Secure Sockets Layer.” (“SSL”) security protocol and serve pages through “https://” addresses. SSL is a security technology for servers and web browsers that makes sure that data passed between the two are private by encrypting the connection. Although this protocol is usually desired for user account pages and online checkout, we prefer to serve all our websites by using this protocol. Also, although we do not store any sensitive information in the cookies for our websites, if we consider any information we store as critical, we use some encryption methods to provide more security. 

For any of our services where you can create an account or membership that will require your password to login, we never store user passwords in plain text. We always use encryption methods to store such passwords securely.

Although we can try to provide some data security, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Therefore you need to share your information through our services responsibly.

Depending on the changes in our practices, or related laws, we may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. 

When we made any changes in our Privacy Policy we will notify you by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
